The unique converted barn rooms were charming, but the sleigh beds were too small.

We liked the room and dinner and breakfast very much
Rough ground immediately outside windows not attractive.

My wife and I were well pleased with the accommodation and the food on offer at the restaurant. However, two points: We both felt that a small area to the immediate rear of the barn conversion would benefit with some paving and turfing. And that an information pack within your folder in the lounge area listing interesting places to visit might prove beneficial. Altogether, a very enjoyable stay. We were in suite 4.

The location was peaceful with great views. The staff was attentive and efficient and we loved its vegetarian breakfast.

Quirky experience in that the bedrooms were 30 yards or so from a public house in which we had dinner. However the bedroom was spacious and overlooked a large lawn with seating. The hostess, dinner and breakfast were excellent..
Expensive for location.

Very quiet location with excellent food - would recommend it.
Peeped into room 2 but it looked claustrophobic because of the dark rough panneling behind the bed. Room 1 was lovely.

Location. Room off the main road and quiet. Nice pub and good breakfast.
Although the room was just as the photos show and of a high standard, it could do with more thorough housekeeping or the standard will soon decline. e.g. curtains need a wash - corners and window frames a little neglected. Some nice touches though and would still highly recommend.

The place was lovely old and extremely convenient, with its active staff who delivered excellent service. The queen room we stayed in were new-fashioned on the note of lighting
There were a bit too soft beds.

The location is spot on if ur lookin to explore petworth area, rooms are high end for the price. Loved the bar service and breakfast was massive n full of quality. Charlene was a star in the morn, made our day with great chat.
The only downside was that we wished we could've stayed longer, it was too short. A bit of noise from the road but it wasn't too much.

missingWrote a review on 16 Octcozy puboutdoor diningaccessibility issuesinconsistent quality
The cozy pub atmosphere really nailed that rustic charm. The diverse outdoor dining options let you enjoy the fresh air while tasting hearty meals with farm-to-table freshness.
The uneven pathways created some accessibility challenges, which could trip up anyone not paying attention. A few of the dishes I tried had inconsistent quality, leaving me wishing for a more reliable culinary experience. Lastly, the noise from the road was noticeable during the night, detracting from the overall tranquil vibe when settling down to sleep.

Good food. Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff.
A small negative was lack of information on local walks, although they did say the information provided must have been taken by another guest.
